📌 What is MNP?

MNP (Mobile Number Portability) allows you to transfer your existing Japanese phone number to JB Voice SIM.

You do not need a Japanese address. Only a passport is required to apply.

📌 Application Process

① Request an MNP Reservation Number from your current mobile carrier

(For example: Y!mobile, etc.)

The MNP reservation number is generally valid for about 16 days.
If it is not used before the expiration date, it will automatically become invalid.

② Purchase a JB Voice SIM online

③ Complete the MNP Transfer Application Form

④ Wait for your inactive SIM card to arrive

Your SIM card will be shipped before activation.

⑤ Transfer your phone number on the scheduled date

Your number will be transferred at the agreed time.

Once the transfer is completed, your previous mobile service will be automatically cancelled.

⚠️ Important Notes

📌 During the month of the MNP transfer, you may be charged by both your previous carrier and JB Voice.

📌 Both carriers may charge the full monthly fee. Monthly fees are not prorated.

📌 Once the MNP transfer is completed, your previous SIM card and service will be deactivated.
