■ Purchase Process
1. Payment & Document Upload
Please complete the online payment (administrative fee) and upload your proof of address.
An electronic receipt will be sent immediately after successful payment. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder or confirm that your email address was entered correctly.
2. Online Identity Verification (eKYC)
After payment, you will receive a verification email.
The verification process includes:
Email Verification → Passport Verification → Selfie Verification
3. Activate eSIM
After your passport verification and address verification have been completed, eSIM will be activated on the same day or the following day.
Once activation is complete, the activation information will be sent to the email address you provided during your application.
4. Monthly Fee & Automatic Billing
Once your service has been confirmed to be working properly, we will send you the payment link for the first month’s service fee and activate automatic billing.
■ Age Requirement

■ Important Contract Information
- You may specify your preferred activation month. Advance ordering is recommended. The month in which you receive your eSIM becomes the first month of your contract. Monthly fees are charged for the entire month; prorated billing is not available.
- Monthly service fees will be automatically charged on the 1st day of each month.
- Additional usage charges will be itemized and sent around the 20th of the second month following the month of use, and will be automatically charged together with your next monthly payment.
- The minimum contract period is 3 months. You may cancel your service starting from the 4th month.
- Cancellation requests submitted by the 15th of the month will take effect at the end of that month. Even if the service is canceled mid-month, the full monthly fee for that month will still be charged.
- Additional high-speed data cannot be purchased. If you need more data, you may use ▶ JB Data eSIM or ▶ JB Data SIM Card.
- A maximum of five lines may be registered under the same account holder.
- Outside Japan, simply enable the SIM card. Voice calls and SMS will work without enabling mobile data or connecting to Wi-Fi.
- Mobile data is not available outside Japan.
■ Cancellation & Refund Policy
- If you selected the wrong product, please contact us directly to modify your order. There is no need to cancel and submit a new application.
- If you cancel your application for personal reasons, the administrative fee you paid will be refunded after deducting the 5% credit card processing fee.
- If your application cannot be completed due to a failed passport eKYC verification, the refund will be issued after deducting both the 5% credit card processing fee and the ¥500 eKYC verification fee charged by the verification provider.
■ Proof of Address
According to regulations issued by Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, applicants for a Japanese phone number must provide proof of their registered address or current residential address.
