■Proof of Address Documents
Under the regulations of Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, when applying for a Japanese phone number, you must provide a document proving the registered address or current residential address of the contract holder.
<Physical SIM cards can only be shipped to the address stated on the proof of address document.>
🌐Proof of Current Address: Please provide any one of the following documents (the contract holder’s name and current address must both be shown)
・Driver’s license, family register certificate, or tax-related documents issued by a government agency
・Utility bill (electricity, gas, water, etc.)
・Credit card statement, bank statement, or similar document
🗾If you would like the SIM card delivered to a hotel in Japan, please provide both of the following:
① Hotel reservation confirmation (must show the contract holder’s name and check-in date)
② Proof of current address
